Once you have decided on brick as a building material, you can move on to the further planning stage. A disadvantage of many prefab homes is that customers do not have individual design options. With the Rötzer brick construction method, however, you are integrated into the planning process and can bring in creative ideas already in the planning phase. The construction process: These steps are involved in Rötzer brick construction
Once you have the construction plans and have brought your ideas, you can continue with the construction process. Here you will find the most important information on the different construction phases:
1. Brick prefabrication
From exhaust pipes to wiring: everything important is already included in the assembly. The short construction times with the Rötzer brick construction method are only possible because all important equipment such as sanitary pipes and electrical components are already integrated during production. In our brick factory we produce the following items:
- Elements for walls and ceilings
- Climatic brick ceiling with integrated climate system
- Solid concrete or brick base
The brick elements are pre-produced in our factory and dried under computer control. The items are then archived.
2. The excavation works
During the pre-production of the brick elements, excavation work on the building can begin. Here’s how to get one optimal time saving.

3. Masonry construction with the advantages of a prefabricated house
The house is then built. To do this, we first bring the solid brick elements to the construction site. Thanks to the well-thought-out production strategy you can also rely on one of them exact dimensional accuracy and one optimal degree of drying leave the house. Typically, we allow you to configure the shell within 5 days. So you will benefit from it reduced construction times and can continue with internal work immediately after installation. Construction offers you maximum possible planning securitybecause thanks to the prefabricated elements, atmospheric influences hardly play an important role.
4. Interior work and interior design
Once the shell is in place, a large piece has already been made. Immediately following the final stages of shell assembly, the carpenter and/or roofer waterproofs the shell from rain. Then it’s time for the internal work. Here the screed is poured, plastered, heating and plumbing work is carried out, ventilation of the living room is possibly installed or the floors are laid, for example.
